MHA TCG Hero League Championship (Worlds) RecapFrom mhacardgame.com
Outside of the Big Three, there is a sizable contingent of smaller “tier 2” games with still sizable audiences. MHA TCG/UniVersus is one that interests me quite a bit.

Good Morning Magic: “Is First Strike Going Away?”From youtube.com
WotC released two pieces of Magic design content this week; the ONE handoff document by MaRo is interesting from a process perspective, but that set appears to have basically been a design slam dunk and this only covers preliminary (‘Vision’) design, so there’s little back-and-forth to observe and learn from.
Gavin’s video is perhaps more interesting, if only because first strike has been such an interesting part of Magic throughout its lifetime — perhaps one of the easiest core mechanics to teach and one with far-reaching, head-scratching effects.
Pokémon coverage appears to be over at Channel Fireball
While looking for sources for this linkblog, I looked closely at my regular beat — Channel Fireball, TCGPlayer Infinite, and so on. While CFB still covers Magic, it has no coverage for the other two of the Big Three — this last Pokémon article is a video from CFB Pokémon contributor HotChocPTCG is dated December 5th.
It appears CFB parent company TCGPlayer still has Pokémon card evaluation and financial articles as part of TCGPlayer Infinite, and I am sure I can find independent meta coverage elsewhere; CFB is still valuable for its coverage of Flesh and Blood and My Hero Academia/UniVersus, which are a little harder to come by.
